Your basic responsibilities:

  •  Perform basic administrative tasks – draft documents, copy, scan, file
  •  Communicate with potential and existing clients in person, by phone and email
  •  Manage paper and electronic files
  •  Open and close client files according to procedure
  •  Calendar deadlines
  •  Serve as a backup for other administrative team members when they need a hand or a day off
  •  Maintain practice and client confidentiality

These items are non-negotiable:

  •  You must be available to work and be in the office Monday – Friday.
  •  You must have strong administrative skills and be detail-oriented
  •  You must be comfortable working with various computer programs, databases and systems
  •  You must be reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain strict confidentiality
  •  You don’t think making coffee or getting our guests a beverage is beneath you
  •  Serve as a backup for other administrative team members when they need a hand or a day off- You must be a positive, high-energy team player who is results-oriented – No Drama!
  •  You must care about something and have goals in life.

Benefits:

The firm pays for HMO Kaiser Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Acupuncture/ Chiropractic, Life Insurance & Long-term Disability Insurance for employees only. Dependents can be added to medical at employee’s expense.   10 days accrued vacation for the first five years and 15 days after completion of five years of employment. There are 10 paid holidays that the firm is closed for.  Eligible for retirement, and firm matching, after three years of employment.
